Do you charge a diagnostics/book in fee?
No, we usually provide a free diagnostics and quote. However, for extensive problems, including display and power-related issues, we do charge a diagnostic fee as finding the fault can take longer.
What does it cost to repair and how long will it take?
We can provide an estimate based on your console issue. However, we can only provide an accurate quote after analysing the console or controller. This also applies to how long it will take; only an estimate can be given and will depend on the extent of diagnostics and complexity of repair. We always strive to do repairs as quickly as possible while maintaining integrity.
What is Hall Effect or TMR Analogs and is it worth it?
Absolutely, yes. Hall effect analogs, especially TMR analogs, are theoretically driftless and will not need replacement unless physically broken or liquid damaged. According to previous replacements surveyed, clients experienced 1 to 2 years of drift free gameplay, so far. In this same time frame, normal analogs will need to be replaced 3 to 5 times, crowning the Hall Effect/TMR analog upgrade as the most economical choice in the long run.
Can I trade in my broken console?
Yes. Depending on the offer for your console or controller, you may received a discount towards a replacement of the same or an upgrade.
What happens if my SSD is faulty in my Xbox Series S/X console?
The console is unrepairable. Due to Microsoft's configuration, each SSD is married to that specific console and can not be replaced with a new one.
Can I customise the design of my controller?
Yes. We can customize any PS5 and Xbox Series S/X Controller from the available designs that we have in stock. We do not apply stickers. The covers, shells, and buttons are replaced to form the colors and designs that we have to instill quality and durability.
How frequently is it recommeneded to service my console and what does it involve?
Once a year is recommended, depending on the amount of dust circulating in the premises where the console is used. A full service ensures that the console runs at optimal ventilation and cooling efficiency. A service involves a complete disassembly of the console, removal of all dust and debris clogging ventilation, thermal compound removal and replacement with a quality high-performance variant, and, in the case of the PS5, additional liquid metal is added to cover any dry spots that have formed.
